A continuation of the JHU Mars Rover Team’s new workshop series, I led the “Intro to Ubuntu” workshop to get the software team started with a Linux environment. The lecture focuses on setting up a virtual machine with Ubuntu 22.04 with the intention of using it for ROS2 development. I also dip into basic bash/CLI. I later met with team members interested in dual booting Ubuntu one-on-one to help troubleshoot any problems that came up. The slides can be found here.
